Background

Luke Kroeplin, CFP®, is Fortress’s Strategy and Planning Manager, focusing on portfolio management, risk management, and financial planning for pre-retirees and retirees. With over eight years of experience in wealth management and financial advising, Luke is passionate about helping clients evaluate one of the biggest financial questions they face: whether their retirement plan aligns with their long-term goals.

Luke’s career began in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a firefighter for eight years before transitioning to the financial services industry. While working in banking and wealth management, he used the GI Bill to earn his B.S. in Finance from the University of Minnesota. His analytical mindset and dedication to problem-solving make him a trusted resource for clients navigating major financial transitions, such as pension changes and retirement planning.

Beyond the office

Beyond his work at Fortress, Luke continues to serve in the Air Force Reserves and co-owns D-Bat Rochester, a baseball and softball training facility focused on developing young athletes. He enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his wife Haley, a Mayo Clinic Dosimetrist, and their four children, Kaden, Carter, Olivia & Emily.
