As we are now starting to see more and more debates and advertising for the political season coming up next year I found an interesting statistic on the Commerce Department’s website.
In the last 75 years there have been just two presidents who were elected to a first time in the office who failed to win their re-election for their second term. The one president was Jimmy Carter in his November 1980, and the second was George H. W. Bush in November of 1992.
