Household Income Hits A New High
As the economy has continued to grow during this economic cycle, it appears that household income has been going up too.
According to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, after adjusting numerical data for inflation, the median household income in 2017, in the United States, was $61,372, which is the highest ever recorded in the United States. The previous record for household income was $60,309, which was set in 2016. And prior to 2016, the peak for the median household income was at $60,062 back in 1999.
