Often, I’m asked what the best investment is and where should I be investing my money right now. Obviously, it’s difficult to know, but normally we look at overall allocations based on risk tolerance, time horizon, and need for income or wealth accumulation, but it’s also important to look at the overall potential growth or current cycle of that particular asset class.
According to the most recent international monetary fund report, the U.S. economy is projected to grow at 2.2% for 2019 which is almost 1% higher than the projected growth rate of 1.3% for all of the economies of the 19 nations that make up the Eurozone.
Projected growth of US better than Europe?
Certainly, we can’t predict how investment returns are going to do from one asset class to the next or one country to the next, but despite all of the challenges going on in the United States, the economy is projected to grow at a much faster rate of that of the collective economies in Europe.
